Peanut’s Library – Noisy Farm

Is there anything better than getting children’s books as gifts?  I don’t think so.  Peanut was fortunate enough to get a handful of books over the holidays and this was one of them.

Noisy Farm published by DK Publishing

Why Peanut likes the book: The book is big!  The animal pictures are big!  The words are big!  Did I mention that it’s big?  Because of this and the bright colors the book really captures her attention.  It is also interactive.  As noted on the book there are “6 giant flaps for baby to flip” and Peanut loves to give it a try.  Peanut also gives this board book her chew of approval.

Why I like the book: The book is a great way to introduce children to the sounds that animals make.  I also enjoy the pictures of the animals (I like that they are actual photos of the animals vs. illustrations) and relish any opportunity to make loud, exaggerated animal sounds.  As an added plus, I also learned what sound a Billy Goat makes.
